Max Pacioretty scored twice to back 36 saves from Carey Price, as Montreal emerged with a 4-1 victory over Florida on Saturday.

Thomas Vanek and David Desharnais added a goal and one assist apiece for the Canadiens, who won their fifth in a row and eighth in the last nine.

Brad Boyes talled and Dan Ellis stopped only 15 shots for the Panthers, losers in nine of their last 12.
