New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis left Friday's game against the Utah Jazz in the first quarter with a left ankle injury.
Davis played just four minutes and was 0-for-1 from the field prior to exiting the contest. The Pelicans announced shortly after his departure that the All- Star power forward would not return to the contest.

The 21-year-old former first overall pick entered Friday's contest averaging 21.7 points, 10.5 rebounds and an NBA-best 2.9 blocks in 62 games for the Pelicans this season.
