Winnipeg to host 2015 Grey Cup

Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - Winnipeg has been selected as host for the 2015 Grey Cup.

CFL commissioner Mark Cohon made the announcement Wednesday.

Winnipeg last welcomed the CFL's championship game in 2006, when the British Columbia Lions defeated the Montreal Alouettes, 25-14.

The game will be played on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015.

This year's Grey Cup is slated for Nov. 30 at BC Place in Vancouver.
