Mike Cammalleri scored in the third round of the shootout to help the Calgary Flames to a 2-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Monday.

Cammalleri skated in on Calgary's final attempt and blew a wrister past Alex Stalock before Karri Ramo sealed the win with a stop on James Sheppard.

Despite the loss, though, San Jose clinched a playoff spot for the 10th straight season with the point.

Joe Colborne had the only goal of regulation for the Flames, who have won five of their last seven. Ramo stopped 33 shots in the win.

Sheppard scored for the Sharks, who have dropped three of four. Stalock made 26 saves in the loss.
