Dwight King scored the winning goal halfway through the third period as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-2, at Wells Fargo Center.

Jeff Carter and Justin Williams scored for the Kings, who have won their third straight game. Jonathan Quick stopped 30 shots in the win.

Matt Read and Jakub Voracek had goals in the third period for the Flyers, who finished a four-game homestand against Western Conference teams with a mark of 3-1-0. Ray Emery turned away 38 shots in the loss.
