Astros beat the Braves in spring training

Dexter Fowler crossed the plate twice and had three hits as the Houston Astros defeated the Atlanta Braves 7-5 in spring training Monday.

Dexter Fowler crossed the plate twice and had three hits as the Houston Astros defeated the Atlanta Braves 7-5 in spring training Monday.

Robbie Grossman, Chris Carter, Jonathan Villar and Fowler each drove in a run for the Astros. Starter Dallas Keuchel gave up four runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in four innings.

Chris Johnson, Justin Upton and Freddie Freeman homered for the Braves. David Hale was touched for six runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings in the loss.
