Chasson Randle poured in a team-high 23 points to lead Stanford to a 58-53 win over New Mexico in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

Anthony Brown and Stefan Nastic added 10 points apiece, with Brown adding seven boards for the Cardinal (22-12), who will face the winner of Kansas/Eastern Kentucky in the third round on Sunday.

Cameron Bairstow scored a game-high 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds for the Lobos (27-7), who didn't make it past their opening game of the tournament for the second straight season.

New Mexico was upset by then-14th seeded Harvard last year.
