Bobcats sign White to 10-day contract

Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Charlotte Bobcats signed forward D.J. White to a 10-day contract on Friday.

White previously played one-plus seasons with the Bobcats after joining the team via trade on Feb. 24, 2011. In 82 games, he averaged 7.3 points and 3.8 rebounds.

Originally selected with the 29th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, White has averaged 6.0 points and 3.2 rebounds in 132 career games with the Thunder, Bobcats and Celtics.

White most recently played for the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association. In 27 games this season, he averaged 20.2 points and 8.5 rebounds in 31.9 minutes.
