Mike Rostampour tallied a double-double for Omaha (17-14) with 16 points and a a career-high 21 rebounds. C.J. Carter chipped in 14 points in the win, and both Marcus Tyus and Alex Phillips contributed 13 points.

Alonzo Traylor netted 15 points to pace North Dakota (17-16), while Aaron Anderson added 13 points with five rebounds. Troy Huff rounded out the double- digit UND scorers with 12 points, pulling down five rebounds of his own in the loss.

Omaha connected on 48.3 percent of its field goal tries in the first half, but hit just 1-of-11 from 3-point range, and still took a 42-33 lead into the intermission. The Mavericks also hit 13-of-17 from the free throw line in the frame. North Dakota shot just 36.1 percent from the floor, but hit 5-of-12 from 3-point distance.

Nebraska Omaha caught fire in the second half, netting 61.3 percent of its shot attempts, and buried 9-of-10 tries from the charity stripe. UND improved to 45.7 percent shooting in the period, but fell behind by another seven points and found itself trailing Omaha by 16 at the final buzzer.

The Mavericks outscored North Dakota from the free-throw line, 22-10, and had a 43-30 edge in rebounding. They also had a distinct advantage in points in the paint, 52-32.
