Brewers take out Rockies

Juan Francisco drew a bases-loaded walk to force in Caleb Gindl with the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, handing Milwaukee a 4-3 victory over Colorado in Cactus League play.

Juan Francisco drew a bases-loaded walk to force in Caleb Gindl with the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, handing Milwaukee a 4-3 victory over Colorado in Cactus League play.

Gindl finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and Rickie Weeks drove in another run for the Brewers.

Tyler Thornburg picked up the win thanks to two scoreless relief innings during which he fanned two, walked one and allowed just two hits.

Brandon Barnes hit a solo homer and scored twice. Charlie Culberson and Michael Cuddyer drove in the other runs for the Rockies.

Boone Logan was charged with the deciding run on three hits while recording only two outs in the seventh.
