Antwan Space also recorded a double-double for the Aggies (18-15) with 11 points and 11 boards, while Fabyon Harris also scored 11 points. Alex Caruso handed out 10 assists for Texas A&M, which will advance to play Illinois State in the quarterfinals on March 24.

Jerron Granberry led Wyoming (18-15) with 10 points.

Texas A&M dominated the opening period as it shot 52 percent from the floor en route to a 32-16 halftime lead. The Cowboys were limited to 26.9 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

Wyoming improved after the break to hit on 33 percent of its field goal attempts and convert 10-of-12 shots at the free-throw line. Although the Aggies missed their final eight shots from the floor and the Cowboys ended the game on an 8-0 run, Texas A&M still managed to win by a 16-point margin.

The Aggies overpowered Wyoming on the interior as they enjoyed a 41-27 edge in the rebounding battle and outscored the Cowboys, 26-13, in the paint.
