San Diego slides past Angels in Cactus League play

Nick Hundley went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI to lead the San Diego Padres to a 4-2 win over the Angels in Cactus League action.

Nick Hundley went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI to lead the San Diego Padres to a 4-2 win over the Angels in Cactus League action.

Jedd Gyorko added a solo home run and Ryan Jackson picked up an RBI to round out the scoring for the Padres. Eric Stults struck out four while allowing one run on three hits over five innings.

Grant Green and Matt Long each knocked in a run for the Angels. J.B. Shuck went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run scored. Tyler Skaggs was touched for eight hits and three runs through four innings.
