St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Free agent offensive tackle Rodger Saffold is apparently heading back to the St. Louis Rams.
Saffold had a reported agreement with the Oakland Raiders on the first day of free agency, but the deal apparently fell through because of a failed physical and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Thursday that the 25-year-old veteran will return to the Rams.

The Indiana product has played 47 games and started 44 since joining the Rams in 2010 as a second-round draft pick,
According to the Post-Dispatch, the new deal with the Rams will be for about $30 million over five years. The contract with Oakland was said to be $42.5 million over five years with $21 million guaranteed.
