Raiders bring in OT Howard

Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Raiders have signed offensive tackle Austin Howard.

Howard started all 32 games the past two seasons as the starting right tackle with the New York Jets. He also played in four games as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia in 2010.

The Northern Iowa product spent 2011 on the practice squad of the Baltimore Ravens before joining the Jets in November 2011. He did not play for the Jets that season.
