Justan Banks had 16 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks as Alabama A&M defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 69-50, in the quarterfinals of the SWAC Tournament.

Brandon Ellis tallied 18 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the fifth-seeded Bulldogs (14-15), who will face eighth-seeded Prairie View A&M in the semifinals on Friday.

Tevin Hammond provided 14 points, 10 assists and five steals to lead the Golden Lions (13-18).
