Miami defeats Detroit 4-2

Jake Marisnick went 2-for-5 picking up two RBI to push the Miami Marlins to a 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers in Grapefruit League action.

Jake Marisnick went 2-for-5 picking up two RBI to push the Miami Marlins to a 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers in Grapefruit League action.

Giancarlo Stanton and Garrett Jones had an RBI apiece for Miami. Jacob Turner gave up two runs -- one earned -- on four hits through four innings.

Bryan Holaday was 1-for-2 and drove in both runs for the Tigers. Drew Smyly surrendered four runs -- three earned -- over 3 1/3 innings of work.
