DT Martin signs with Lions

(SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions have reportedly signed defensive tackle Vaughn Martin.

Mlive.com is reporting the signing, citing Martin's agent.

Martin played in just three games last year, his first season with the Miami Dolphins. He underwent surgery for a sports hernia and was released in November.

For his career, Martin has totaled 79 tackles and three sacks in 51 games (27 starts). He spent his first four seasons with the San Diego Chargers before going to the Dolphins.
