Bears nab Willie Young

The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with defensive end Willie Young on a three-year contract.

Lake Forest, Ill. The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with defensive end Willie Young on a three-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Young spent his first four NFL seasons with division-rival Detroit and became a starter in 2013. He registered 47 tackles with three sacks last season.

The 28-year-old North Carolina State product entered the NFL as a seventh- round draft choice with the Lions in 2010 and has compiled 72 tackles with six sacks in 48 games, 15 of which have been starts.
