Texas Southern routs Grambling State in SWAC quarterfinals

Houston, Texas -- Aaric Murray had 18 points and six blocks and Texas Southern routed Grambling State 79-54 on Wednesday in the SWAC Tournament quarterfinals.

Madarious Gibbs netted 15 points and D'Angelo Scott added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the second-seeded Tigers (17-14), who have won seven in a row and will play the winner of Thursday's Alabama State-Alcorn State game in the semifinals.

Antwan Scott led 10th-seeded Grambling State (5-24) with 12 points.
