North Texas beat by Tulane in CUSA tourney

Jonathan Stark had 21 points and seven assists and Tulane rallied to defeat North Texas, 66-61, in the second round of the Conference USA Tournament.

Tulane trailed by as many as 13 in the second half before storming back with a game-changing 15-3 run. The Green Wave had trailed the entire game until a Kevin Thomas free throw gave them a 52-51 edge with 6:36 left.

Jay Hook tallied 11 points and eight rebounds, while Tre Drye pulled down 11 boards for the seventh-seeded Green Wave (17-15), who will play second-seeded Tulsa in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Brandan Walton netted 16 points to lead 10th-seeded North Texas (16-16).
