Bell re-signs with Lions

Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions re-signed running back Joique Bell on Tuesday.

According to the team's website, the deal is for three years and $9.3 million.

Bell played in 16 games with the Lions last season, recording 650 yards and eight touchdowns rushing while posting 547 yards on 53 receptions.

Bell is a four-year veteran who has also been with the Colts, Eagles and Saints. However, he didn't see any regular playing time until 2012 with the Lions.

In his first season of regular work two years ago, Bell rushed for 414 yards and three scores, and had 52 catches for 485 yards.
