ST. LOUIS, March 10 (UPI) -- After defeating Indiana State 83-69 on Sunday to win the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball tournament, Wichita State finished the season undefeated.

The Shockers were given t-shirts to commemorate the un-blemished season that were anything but perfect.

The misprint on the back of the shirts shows a bracket that has Indiana State as the conference champion.

"It (doesn't) matter," said Shockers point guard Fred VanVleet. "We won. So we've got the T-shirts on, (and) they don't get to wear them today."

The Shockers are the first Division I team to reach 34-0 since UNLV's Runnin' Rebels in 1990-91.

"We won. What can they say now?” said forward Darius Carter. "They've got the correct logo on the front. So I could probably scribble that out on the back with like a permanent marker or something, and we'll be all right."

Wichita State will likely receive a No. 1 seed in the March Madness tournament amid rumblings that they are not worthy of a top seed.

"At the end of the day, the only thing we can do is prepare ourselves for the next game," said forward Cleanthony Early. "People are going to bag (us). People are going to support us. That's the way life is."

Selection Sunday will take place on March 16.

"You can debate what you want to debate. Facts are facts. Truth is truth. We're not into debating how good or great we are or how bad somebody else is,” VanVleet said. “That's for barbershop talk and coffee table arguments. We're not into that stuff, man. If they feel that way, that's on them…We don't care what seed we get -- we'll be ready to play."
