Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Falcons signed defensive tackle Corey Peters to a one-year deal Tuesday.

Peters, 25, is coming off a career season that was cut one game short when he was placed on injured reserve in December after suffering an Achilles injury.

He had 46 tackles and five sacks, both career highs, in 15 games and has 120 tackles, nine sacks and one interception in 56 games since he was drafted in the third round by the Falcons in 2010.
