NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 101, Houston 93

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin scored 23 points and Darren Collison added 19 Wednesday to help the Los Angeles Clippers down the visiting Houston Rockets 101-93.

Griffin also had 16 rebounds and Deandre Jordan also finished with a double-double of 13 points and 10 boards.

Chris Paul just missed doubling up with 14 points and nine assists in the win, which extended the Clippers' winning streak to three games.

Houston, which had won its previous two games, got 23 points and 11 rebounds from Dwight Howard. James Harden added 18.

Los Angeles pulled away in the fourth quarter of the closely fought contest as Houston hit a cold stretch early in the period.
