PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Riley Cooper and center Jason Kelce have agreed to long-term contracts with the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL team said Thursday.

Cooper, 26, signed a five-year deal with the Eagles after emerging as a full-time starter for Philadelphia last season. He has career highs with 47 receptions, 835 receiving yards and eight touchdown receptions. He was third in the NFL with yards per catch at 17.8 yards.

"Riley is one of the toughest and hardest-working guys in our locker room," Eagles Coach Chip Kelly said in a release. "We talk a lot about how players have to make the most of their opportunities and he did just that last year. He used his size, strength and speed to make a lot of big plays for our team and I'm excited to watch him build upon his success."

Kelce, also 26, started every game in 2013 after missing almost all of the 2012 season with a knee injury. He anchored an offensive line that helped the Eagles set team records for points and total net yards. His new deal is for seven years.

"Jason is the epitome of the type of player we want around here, both on and off the field. He's tough, extremely intelligent and is a leader by his actions and by his words. His athleticism is something that really sticks out when you watch him play. There aren't many centers that can get down the field like he does," Kelly said.
