NBA: Minnesota 110, Phoenix 101

PHOENIX, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Kevin Love was an assist short of a triple-double Tuesday, but his 31 points and 13 rebounds were key in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 110-101 win over Phoenix.

Love notched nine assists and barely missed registering his second career triple-double in as many weeks.

Minnesota outscored the Suns 35-20 in the fourth quarter and prevailed despite being out-rebounded in the game 50-38.

The Timberwolves shot a sluggish 65.6 percent from the free-throw line, but they scored 21 points on foul shots compared to just 14 for the Suns.
