LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- It sounds like entertainer Bow Wow has sacked his plan to partner up with NFL quarterback Michael Vick to sell hair care products.

The duo’s line of WaveMasterz products was supposed to include durags, brushes, skull caps and pomade items. The "wave brushes" from WaveMasterz were going to feature mirrors on the back.

"It was supposed to go down," Bow Wow told TMZ Sports. "but all deals don't go down the way you want them to…Michael Vick is still a close friend of mine, I wish him the best."

While it remains to be seen what will happen with Vick’s business venture, some people believe that he will be joining the New York Jets as a free agent. According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Vick and Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg would be a good fit.

Vick is set to become an unrestricted free agent next month and would be a good backup plan for the Jets if second-year quarterback Geno Smith struggles during his sophomore campaign.
