NBA: Memphis 102, Los Angeles Clippers 96

MEMPHIS, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph scored 21 points and Marc Gasol added 17 for the Memphis Grizzlies, who held off the visiting Los Angeles Clippers 102-96 Friday.

Randolph also had 11 rebounds in the win and Gasol snagged 10 boards and blocked four shots for the galloping Griz, who won for the 16th time in 20 starts.

Randolph played a key role in fending off a late Los Angeles rally by scoring six points in the final three minutes during which the Clippers cut the Memphis lead to 98-96 but could not score in the minute of play.

Blake Griffin was a major player in the home-stretch rally and ended with 28 points for the game. It was the 10th consecutive game the Clippers big man scored 25 points or more.

Jamal Crawford added 23 points for Los Angeles and Chris Paul notched a double-double of 18 points and 14 assists.
