CHICAGO, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- D.J. Augustin
scored 22 points, including five 3-pointers, Friday and the Chicago Bulls blew past the visiting Denver Nuggets 117-89.
Augustin also had eight assists for the Bulls, who won their fifth consecutive game.
Tony Snell had 20 points for the Bulls. Taj Gibson scored 15 and had 10 rebounds. Joakim Noah also doubled up with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Chicago shot 50 percent from the floor and out-rebounded Denver 50-40. The Bulls enjoyed a 23-point lead at halftime.
Denver shot 40.2 percent in the game and a wobbly 54.4 percent from the free throw line while dropping their sixth decision in their last seven games.
Randy Foye led Denver with 23 points, including five treys. Aaron Brooks scored 17 in his first game with the Nuggets since being traded to Denver by the Houston Rockets.
