SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Ole Einar Bjorndalen of Norway won a record 13th Winter Olympics medal Wednesday as part of the first-place team in the biathlon mixed relay.
He broke a tie with Norwegian cross-country skier Bjorn Daehlie by joining Tora Berger, Tiril Eckhoff and Emil Hagle Svendsen on the winning team.

The silver medal was won by the Czech Republic and the bronze went to Italy.
