Olympic Medal: Women's Giant Slalom

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Tina Maze of Slovenia won the Olympic gold medal Tuesday in the women's giant slalom.

Maze earned her second gold medal of the Sochi Games, having won the downhill race in a dead heat with Switzerland's Dominique Gisin.

The silver in the giant slalom went to Anna Fenninger of Austria, who had won the gold in the super-G event. Germany's Viktoria Rebensburg took the bronze.
