SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Joergen Graabak of Norway came from sixth place after the ski jumping Tuesday to win the Olympic nordic combined large hill event.
None of the top five finishers in the ski jumping segment of the combined won a medal. Eric Frenzel of Germany, winner of the normal hill nordic combined competition earlier in the Olympics, was on top after one jump on the large hill. He started eight seconds in front of second-place jumper Haavard Klemetsen of Norway, but both faded during the 10 kilometers of cross-country skiing.
