SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 15 (UPI) --
Victor Ahn of Russia won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in the men's 1,000-meter short-track skating race.
Ahn is a native of South Korea and won three gold medals for that country at the 2006 Olympics. He earned a bronze earlier in these Games in the 1,500-meter race.
The silver in the 1,000 went to another Russian, Vladimir Grigorev. Sjinkie Knegt of the Netherlands received the bronze.
