Kirk Triplett, Bernhard Langer share ACE Group Classic lead

NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Kirk Triplett registered a 5-under 67 Saturday, catching up with overnight leader Bernhard Langer atop the ACE Group Classic after two rounds.

Triplett, seeking his third career Champions Tour title, finished 36 holes at 10-under 134, as did Langer, who managed a 2-under 70 Saturday to retain a share of the lead.

Langer, the defending champion, came into the second round with a one-stroke advantage over Bob Tway at the TwinEagles Club.

Duffy Waldorf (68) and Olin Browne shared third place at 9-under.

Colin Montgomery (67) and Tway (72) finished tied for fifth at 7-under 137.
