Sharper, 38, was charged Friday with using drugs to sexually assault two women as well as five other drug-related felonies, the Los Angeles Times reported.
He was arrested Jan. 17 for the alleged crimes and released on $200,000 bail.
Deputy District Attorney Stacy Okun-Wiese asked the judge Friday to increase Sharper's bail to $10 million because of allegations against him in other states.
The current charges relate to accusations by two women who said they met Sharper at a West Hollywood nightclub in October. Sharper invited them to a party, but on the way, the women said, they stopped at his hotel room where Sharper offered them drinker.
Both women say they passed out. One woman awoke as Sharper was allegedly assaulting her, while the other said she woke up and "interrupted his action," court documents say.
Investigators allege a similar incident occurred in January when Sharper met two other women at the same nightclub.
A woman told New Orleans police in September that Sharper took her to his apartment and sexually assaulted her.
No charges were filed in that case.
Sharper played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints. The five-time Pro Bowl pick last worked as an analyst for the NFL Network.
