JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- A South African woman said Thursday she has reached an out-of-court settlement in a 2009 assault case against sprinter and accused murderer Oscar Pistorius.
Cassidy Taylor-Memmory told the South African news organization Eyewitness News her lawyers reached an agreement with Pistorius' legal team in December, with Pistorius agreeing to pay her legal fees but offering no apology. No other details of the settlement were offered.
