MILWAUKEE, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Eric Gordon netted 21 points Wednesday and New Orleans hung on for a 102-98 win over Milwaukee with the help of a missed dunk by the Bucks' Ersan Ilyasova.

The Pelicans were ahead 98-95 with 1:24 left in the game when Ilyasova had an uncontested chance for slam but missed, and New Orleans went on to close out a three-game road trip with a victory.

Brian Roberts put in 17 points and Alexis Ajinca provided 16 with nine rebounds.

Brandon Knight tallied 22 points with nine assists and Gary Neal provided 18 points off the bench for the hapless Bucks, who entered the all-star break with the NBA's worst record at 9-43.
