SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Jamie Anderson of the United States won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in the women's snowboarding slopestyle.

Her performance gave the United States a sweep of the slopestyle gold medals in that event's debut at the Winter Games. American Sage Kotsenburg won the men's version of the competition on Saturday.
