Olympic Medal: Women's Biathlon Sprint

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in the women's biathlon sprint.

Kuzmina captured the event for the second Games in a row and won her third Olympic medal overall.

The silver went to Olga Vilukhina of Russia. Vita Semerenko of Ukraine took the bronze.

Kuzmina was perfect in the shooting portion of the event and won by a comfortable 20 seconds.
