U.S. bobsledder crashes through Locked Sochi bathroom

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- A member of the U.S. Olympic bobsled team said he had to use his pushing prowess to break through his locked bathroom door in Sochi Saturday.

Johnny Quinn told fans via Twitter that he was taking a shower at the athletes' village when the door somehow locked and jammed, leaving him stuck inside.

"With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out. #Sochijailbreak," the tweet said. The Chicago Tribune said the message came with a photo of the door with a sizable hole in it.

Quinn, a push man on the U.S. 4-man team, weighs 218 pounds and used to play pro football in Canada, the newspaper said.
