NBA: Dallas 103, Utah 81

DALLAS, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis and Dirk Nowitzki combined for 42 points Friday and the Dallas Mavericks downed Utah for a seventh straight meeting, 103-81.

Ellis netted 22 points and Nowitzki added 20 for Dallas, which won a fourth straight overall and fifth in six contests.

Jose Calderon and Samuel Dalembert each helped out with 12 points.

The Jazz got 21 points from Marvin Williams en route to fourth consecutive defeat.

Trey Burke added 13 points and five assists.
