NHL: New York Islanders 1, Washington 0

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Andrew MacDonald scored the game's only goal and Evgeni Nabokov got the shutout Tuesday in the New York Islanders' 1-0 win over Washington.

MacDonald tallied early in the third period when his slap shot off a feed from Brock Nelson found its way through traffic and past Michal Neuvirth.
