NHL: Dallas 2, Anaheim 0

ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Dan Ellis made 26 saves Saturday and the Dallas Stars handed Anaheim its first shutout of the season with a 2-0 decision over the Ducks.

Ellis logged his 14th career whitewash, stopping 12 shots in the final period as the Stars snapped a two-game losing streak.

Trevor Daley scored and Jamie Benn added an empty-netter for Dallas.

Jonas Hiller turned aside 25-of-26 shots for Anaheim, which fell to 22-3-2 at home.
