MONTREAL, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Nate Thompson's second goal of the game came with 23.1 seconds left in overtime Saturday, handing the Tampa Bay Lightning a 2-1 win over Montreal.

The Bolts got the game-winner when Victor Hedman gathered in a carom off the endboards and found Thompson open in the slot. The Tampa Bay center converted it for his fifth goal of the season.

Thompson also scored a short-handed goal in the second period as the Lightning snapped a two-game losing streak.

Ben Bishop turned aside 28 shots.

Daniel Briere scored and Carey Price made 34 saves for Montreal, losers of five in seven.
