NBA: New Orleans 88, Chicago 79

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Anthony Davis, back from a one-game injury absence, racked up 24 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots Saturday in New Orleans' 88-79 win over Chicago.

Davis, who sat out the Pelicans' 88-77 loss to Minnesota Wednesday with a sore left index finger, recorded a sixth straight game with at least four blocked shots -- a franchise record.

Tyreke Evans popped in 11 points and distributed six assists off the bench as the Pelicans took a fourth win in five games.

The Bulls got 23 points from D.J. Augustin en route to their third loss in five contests.
