NHL: Chicago 5, Vancouver 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Brandon Saad scored two of the five consecutive goals Chicago produced Wednesday to rally past Vancouver 5-2.

The Canucks scored the opening two goals of the game and the Blackhawks then took over while snapping a four-game losing streak. The Blackhawks are 1-1 on a seven-game road trip that will not end until after the Olympic break. Chicago's next home game will not be played until March 1.

Tom Sestito scored 2:44 into the second period to give Vancouver a 2-0 lead, but by the end of the middle stanza the Blackhawks had a 4-2 advantage.

Marian Hossa opened the onslaught with a power-play goal, followed by scores from Saad, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp.

Saad also scored into an empty net with 33 seconds left.

Corey Crawford survived the two early goals to pick up the win, stopping 28 shots. Roberto Luongo allowed four goals on 41 shots.
