NBA: Memphis 98, Portland 81

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph notched a double-double Tuesday to lead the surging Memphis Grizzlies to a convincing 98-81 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Grizzlies never trailed in the game and won for the eighth time in their last nine games.

Randolph hit 11-of-22 shots from the field and also had 10 rebounds. Mike Conley added 19 points to the total and Marc Gasol scored 15.

LaMarcus Aldridge totaled 27 points and 16 rebounds for the Blazers, who shot 34.5 percent from the field and lost for the fourth time in six tries.

Memphis held Portland to just 12 points in the third quarter and held the Blazers off in the fourth despite being outscored 23-17.
