NBA: Denver 125, Sacramento 117

SACRAMENTO, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson scored 27 points and Wilson Chandler added 20 more Sunday, lifting the Denver Nuggets over Sacramento 125-117.

Lawson also distributed six assists as Denver recorded a second straight victory on the heels of a three-game losing streak.

Kenneth Faried totaled 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets.

The short-handed Kings were paced by Isaiah Thomas with 22 points and eight assists.

Marcus Thornton added 19 points for Sacramento, which was playing without starters Rudy Gay (Achilles) and DeMarcus Cousins (ankle).
