NHL: Edmonton 5, Nashville 1

EDMONTON, Alberta, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Ben Scrivens turned aside 34-of-35 shots Sunday, backstopping the Edmonton Oilers in a 5-1 victory over Nashville to break a six-game losing streak.

Scrivens stopped all 17 shots he faced in third period for the Oilers, who notched their first win since Jan. 10.

Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Justin Schultz and Ryan Smyth each tallied a goal and an assist and Nail Yakupov also scored for the Oilers.

David Legwand got the only goal for the Predators, who fell to 1-1-1 on a four-game Canadian road trip.

Carter Hutton stopped 22-of-27 shots.
