NBA: New York 110, Los Angeles Lakers 103

NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony, fresh off a 62-point performance in his previous game, netted 35 Sunday to ignite the New York Knicks over the Los Angeles Lakers 110-103.

Anthony, who established a new Knicks scoring record with his big game Friday against Charlotte, also distributed five assists as New York dealt the short-handed Lakers a fourth straight loss.

Raymond Felton connected on 8-of-10 shots from the field en route to 20 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 for the Knicks.

Jodie Meeks drained six 3-pointers on his way to 24 points for the Los Angeles, which wrapped up a seven-game road trip with a 2-5 mark.

Pau Gasol added 20 with 13 rebounds and Manny Harris contributed 18 points.
